Food for Thought

When you try your whole life to be different from this thing we call society how do you know that they are not the ones trying to be different, and you are just like everyone else. what separates the good from the bad, or light from dark. For all we know there is no difference. In the long run we all mean well, but it doesn’t matter. We are all corrupt, it’s just to what extent we are corrupt that defines who we are and where we stand in society. Everyone has their little cliques, and groups so they might feel “accepted” by the general masses. Where will their so called “friends” be ten years from now. All we will be is a name in a book, lost and forgotten to those who supposedly called us friends. It kind of makes you wonder how many of those people actually care… how many of those people would put there lives on the line to save you, and how many of them would turn their backs on you in a moments notice. Do you truly have someone in your life you can count on, to when you stumble and fall , pick you up, and in that desperate moment give you the strength to face your fears alone. If so, who is there to pick up the ones who have been strong for you?.. Who has the strength to help the strong? Whether it be mental or physical, we all need someone to fall back on but the question that nobody has the answer to, is who or what that thing is. Is it sports, or religion, or just simply getting away from it all for awhile. You need someone or something in your life that you can rely on wholeheartedly. It’s true that people always leave, and you might be lucky enough to get the ones you love back but that still doesn’t change the fact that they left. Do you have the strength to face the ones who completely destroy you and forgive them for the things that they’ve done, or will you be bitter and hate the world for it, and lose your faith in people? Where there is no vision, the people perish. If you have a dream or belief, hold onto it, and don’t ever let anyone change or corrupt its beauty because in the long run all you have are yourself and your beliefs… pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Keep that in mind.
